On Wednesday, <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"SpecialReportArticle-QuoteInBody-2\">WTI <span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>closed at its highest level since Oct. 8 on jitters surrounding President Trump and Iran. They can&#8217;t take an hour off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>His firm is behind the <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"SpecialReportArticle-QuoteInBody-6\">VanEck Uranium and Nuclear ETF (NLR)<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>. The fund is up more than 16% since Jan. 1, as of Wednesday&#8217;s close. Cameco is up 21% so far this year. <\/p>\n<p>Jennifer Grancio, TCW&#8217;s global head of distribution, also sees a shift from old to new energy \u2014 one that will play out over a long horizon.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We need all energy sources in order to feed the beast,&#8221; she said, pointing to rising power needs for data centers and manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>Grancio&#8217;s firm manages the <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"SpecialReportArticle-QuoteInBody-10\">TCW Transform Systems ETF (PWRD)<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>, which she describes as a broad portfolio that includes some traditional-economy exposure, but leans into nuclear and efficiency-related companies tied to the power buildout. <\/p>\n<p>The fund is up about 29% over the past year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A major exchange-traded fund manager suggests the oil trade won&#8217;t provide much upside ahead.
